The Canoe SA Team Paddle Challenge is held close to the full moon weekend in October at Roonka Scout Activities Centre north of Blanchetown in the Riverland, taking advantage of a beautiful section of the River Murray. The event starts on Saturday 14th September 2013 and concludes at noon on Sunday 15th September 2013 with a BBQ lunch and presentations to the winning teams. All groups are encouraged to stay for the presentations.
Many teams choose to travel to Roonka on the Friday afternoon and camp at Roonka.
Registration will open from 7.00am on Saturday .
Camping fees for Roonka on Friday night are $8/head. (this also applies to non-paddlers for Friday & Saturday night)
